Adélard Thomassin
Bron in Sillery, on June 24, 1927

A great showman with an equally great talent for accordeon, and a typical Quebec (city) style, Mr. Thomassin also composed a few tunes that are now part of the standard repertoire.

From the fifties, after having learned from the group Les montagnards Laurentiens, Mr. Thomassin appeared on radio, on TV, and, mostly, on stage (often abroad). He was a member of the group l'Ensemble Gilbert Trudel, and, quite recently, the Groupe sans âge.

He can be seen here on stage with Le groupe sans âge. Also, you could go to Tradosphère 's site and listen to two radio interviews (in French) that took place in 2006 (here).
